  73. <dt><code>disinterrupt</code></dt>
  74. <dd><a name="index-disinterrupt-function-attribute_002c-MeP"></a>

  77. function.

  80. <dt><code>interrupt</code></dt>
  81. <dd><a name="index-interrupt-function-attribute_002c-MeP"></a>
  82. <p>Use this attribute to indicate
  83. that the specified function is an interrupt handler. The compiler generates
  84. function entry and exit sequences suitable for use in an interrupt handler
  85. when this attribute is present.

  87. </dd>
  88. <dt><code>near</code></dt>
  89. <dd><a name="index-near-function-attribute_002c-MeP"></a>
  90. <p>This attribute causes the compiler to assume the called
  91. function is close enough to use the normal calling convention,
  92. overriding the <samp>-mtf</samp> command-line option.

  94. </dd>
  95. <dt><code>far</code></dt>
  96. <dd><a name="index-far-function-attribute_002c-MeP"></a>
  97. <p>On MeP targets this causes the compiler to use a calling convention
  98. that assumes the called function is too far away for the built-in
  99. addressing modes.

  101. </dd>
  102. <dt><code>vliw</code></dt>
  103. <dd><a name="index-vliw-function-attribute_002c-MeP"></a>
  104. <p>The <code>vliw</code> attribute tells the compiler to emit
  105. instructions in VLIW mode instead of core mode. Note that this
  106. attribute is not allowed unless a VLIW coprocessor has been configured
  107. and enabled through command-line options.
